Rebecca Marie has been teaching for over 10 years.
Rebecca Marie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance from Buena Vista University and her Master of Arts in Music at the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory.
Rebecca Marie currently sings in the Opera Omaha Chorus and sings at solo events around the metro area. She has held principal roles in Pirates of Penzance, Man of La Mancha, Don Giovanni, and Guys and Dolls. She has had past student get past the first round in American Idol and make several show choirs.
Rebecca Marie has directed several youth musicals including the first Disney’s High School Musical in Omaha.

I have performed at many different coffeehouses, clubs and venues. If you are interested in performing, I can help you with stage presence, stage fright, mic techniques and many of the other skills needed to perform well.
During each lesson, we will focus on the skills needed to increase your level of play through different drills and exercises. The 2nd half of the lesson is always focused on using the newly learned skills and applying them to the current piece of music you are working on.
We will also focus on your goals~ specifically looking at what you want to know, learn, create or perform and then tailor your lessons to help you achieve them step by step.

Singing is good for you. It develops confidence and opens up parts of
your brain that you never thought you had. So whether you have been singing awhile and just want to get better at it, or have never sung at all and just want to give it a try, I am the teacher and coach for you.
I teach a straight forward and healthy way of singing, that requires you use your body as a whole. This technique can be applied to ALL vocal styles. So please bring whatever you want to sing into my studio. I promise you
will be singing it up in no time.
I am a professional singer and received my Masters Degree from the Manhattan School of Music. I have also been teaching for over 7 years in the Bay Area, so I am a very experienced teacher as well. I am currently teaching at Modesto Junior College.
All levels and ages welcome.
Rates begin at 25 dollars a half hour.
